2026-27 Season- Rocky Hill Soccer Club
Rocky Hill Soccer Club is looking for boys and girls who are interested in playing travel soccer at a competitive level while representing Rocky Hill. This league is a more competitive level of play than the Park and Recreation programs run in many towns, including Rocky Hill. Part of our mission is to increase the kids' level of play while assisting in their development of skills, teamwork, and physical well-being. Our Board and Coaches strive to educate all families on the fundamentals of soccer while creating a fun and exciting atmosphere for the kids of Rocky Hill to showcase their love of the sport of soccer.
Rocky Hill Soccer Club Pre-Travel program. The program is designed to help prepare your child for the Travel program which starts at U8/U9. Through a combination of practice drills, games, and small sided scrimmages we’ll work to develop your child’s technical skills, field awareness, and most importantly love of the game.
Registration Process(2026 only):Please note that this year, there will be a 2 Part registration process. This is due to the implementation timing of a new registration system. Part 1 will consist of a simple questionnaire need for the evaluations, while Part 2 will be more thorough including payment and all required document submission. Click here to register for part 1.
Age Group Formation: Age group formation is changing for the 2026-2027 season as mandated by US Youth Soccer. Please see our Age Group Formation page for more detail on this change.
Age Groups for the 2026-2027 Season
U8: Players entering 2nd grade or born between 8/1/18 - 12/31/19
U9: Players entering 3rd grade or born between 8/1/17 – 12/31/18
U10: Players entering 4th grade or born between 8/1/16 – 12/31/17
U11: Players entering 5th grade or born between 8/1/15 – 12/31/16
U12: Players entering 6th grade or born between 8/1/14 – 12/31/15
U13: Players entering 7th grade or born between 8/1/13 – 12/31/14
U14: Players entering 8thtgrade or born between 8/1/12 – 12/31/13
U15 Spring Only: Players entering 9th grade or born between 8/1/11 – 12/31/12
Pre-Travel: Players entering Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade or born between 8/31/19 and 12/31/21.
All current rostered players should continue to register with their current team even if they sit below the parameters listed above.
The U8 Travel Team will continue to compete in the CNC U9 Travel Division.
FEES
Commitment Fee: The commitment fee structure is as follows and is due at time of registration:
Pre-Travel: $200
Travel Teams: U08/U10- $150.00
Travel Teams: U11/U12- $175.00
Travel Teams: U13/U14- $200.00
Travel Team Coach Fees: Our coaching fee for 2026-2027 is $300. Coaching fees will be collected in (2) installments. $150 due by September 15, 2026, and $150 due by October 15, 2026.
· Upon completing your child's online registration, the account will be set up with the above fees and due dates.
· Note that Pre-Travel is excluded from this fee.
Travel Team Uniform Fee: The uniform fee is approximately $130 (all players will order directly with our uniform vendor - information to be emailed in July). Uniform questions can be directed to Stephanie Radinieri.
· Note that Pre-Travel is excluded from this fee. Jerseys will be included in Pre-Travel commitment fee.
· U14/15 teams are grandfathered from ordering uniforms
· Please note that we are moving to a new uniform vendor and a new jersey style, so old uniforms will no longer be able to be used inter-changeably.
Please be aware that your registration serves as a commitment to play for the team your child is selected for. If you opt out prior to team selection or we are unable to place your child, a full refund of the commitment fee will be processed.
Please contact George Hatzikostas if you want to withdraw your registration and receive a refund BEFORE 7/15/2026. No refunds will be processed after this date.
*The Board must be contacted for any exceptions to grade and birth date that do not comply. Please proceed with age-appropriate registration and then contact George Hatzikostas if you are interested in having your child play for the next age group up. NOTE RHSC CLUB POLICIES ENCOURAGE AGE/GRADE APPROPRIATE PARTICIAPTION WITH LIMITED PLAY UP OPPORTUNITY. Please be aware that age groups may be combined to form teams.
